Staff Electrical Engineer (Medical Robotics)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and debug FPGA electrical circuits and hardware based on product requirements.
• Manage component selection, schematics, and PCB layouts using Altium.
• Collaborate with PCB designers on circuit board layouts and documentation packages.
• Develop hardware test fixtures and procedures for evaluation and validation.
• Maintain compliance with IEC 60601 and support NRTL testing requirements.
• Develop and sustain electrical designs for medical robotics products with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of electrical engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with FPGA, analog and digital circuit design, signal processing, A/D and D/A, power systems, and firmware design in C and Verilog.
• Experience with PCB development, including schematic capture, layout, and debugging.
• Familiarity with USB, Ethernet, MIPI, SPI, I2C, LVDS, image sensors, and ultrasound transducers.
• Experience designing and testing for EMC and EMI, including IEC 60601 and NRTL testing.
• Proficiency with Altium, PSpice, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and Microsoft Office applications; ability to travel up to 10%.
