Solution Architect (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada; 0 days per week in-office and less than 25% consulting services.

Base salary: CAD $124,600–$225,600 per year.

What you will do

• Lead value discovery through CFO-led workshops and align AI and agent investments with strategic customer objectives.
• Build value hypotheses, prioritize agent backlogs, and develop three-scenario business cases covering ROI, break-even time, sensitivity, and cost of inaction.
• Design the Measurement Spine, define value-driver KPIs and adoption diagnostics, and capture pre-deployment baselines.
• Run measurement instruments including the Copilot Dashboard in Viva Insights and engagement-level Power BI dashboards.
• Produce business impact reports linking AI deployment to cycle time, cost-to-serve, throughput, and other financial KPIs.
• Own the P&L of Frontier Loops, assess Scale/Sustain/Pivot decisions, and create reusable value patterns, benchmarks, and playbooks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years managing multiple projects or portfolios.
• 1+ year leading blended, multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with business cases, ROI and financial modeling, value hypotheses, KPI definition, baseline measurement, and realized business outcomes.
• Ability to work with CFOs, executive sponsors, finance leaders, business owners, engineering, product, and delivery teams.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Advanced qualification in finance, economics, quantitative disciplines, or an MBA.
• Experience with value realization, value engineering, or business value frameworks in enterprise consulting or technology environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Viva Insights, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, and agentic AI.
• Experience designing live KPI dashboards and understanding the economics of agents, tokens, licenses, and value leakage.
• Experience with SOWs, effort estimates, value governance, or industry transformation programs.
