Architect, Workplace and Power Platform (AI)

Location: Canada — Toronto, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Vancouver, Oakville, New Brunswick, Calgary, Alberta, Ottawa, and Newfoundland and Labrador

Salary: CAD 120,800–151,000 annually, plus 14% target incentives

What you will do

• Own architecture decisions across Power Platform, Copilot Studio, custom Azure development, and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Design enterprise-grade agent solutions, including agent experiences, knowledge sources, custom actions, channels, and Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility.
• Architect integrations across Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and APIs.
• Adapt architectures for Commercial, GCC, and GCC High cloud environments by verifying feature availability and government-cloud constraints.
• Establish conversational AI quality, safety, evaluation, monitoring, governance, DLP, RBAC, and agent lifecycle practices.
• Develop client prototypes, conduct technology assessments, define roadmaps, and provide technical direction to delivery teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering or enterprise solution delivery experience, including 2+ years architecting systems and 6+ years leading technical teams.
• Production experience delivering conversational AI or agent solutions.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, AI Builder, governance, and ALM.
• Strong application-development knowledge covering REST and Graph APIs, Azure Functions, custom connectors, and C# or TypeScript.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Microsoft government clouds, licensing and consumption models, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or Azure AI Engineer Associate.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based coding tools.
