Mechanical Supervisor (Engineering)

Location: Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, Maldives

What you will do

• Supervise mechanical works, installations, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance for tools, appliances, equipment, and facility systems.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters; identify and operate shut-off valves; and inspect mechanical tools and equipment.
• Complete life-safety checks, including fire-pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Manage parts and supplies, including ordering, marking, stocking, inventory tracking, and purchase-order logs.
• Respond to guest repair requests and support the development of disaster-response protocols.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and motivating maintenance employees while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to perform physical maintenance duties, including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs or service ramps, and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Clear and professional communication and adherence to company, safety, security, confidentiality, and guest-service standards.
