Facility Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at LU GICL, Luxembourg

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, infrastructure, buildings, utilities, and site equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, electrical installations, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Inspect facilities for compliance with safety regulations, internal standards, and operational policies, and support external audits.
• Apply EHS procedures, including JRA, OBT, and ICHE, while supporting a proactive safety culture.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions after incidents or equipment failures.
• Maintain technical documentation, manage spare parts inventory, and collaborate with Engineering and Calibration teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance or a technical environment, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
• Education in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC heating and cooling systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Familiarity with MS Office, CAD software, Siemens GTC, and sensor-based systems.
• Fluent English is required.

• French and/or German language skills.
