Branch Medical Group, a subsidiary of hirify.global, manufactures implants for spinal and orthopedic applications and designs the instrumentation cases that house them.

What you will do

  • Construct, repair, rework, calibrate, and test electro-mechanical medical devices and subassemblies.
  • Install electrical and electronic components using soldering equipment, hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, bills of materials, manufacturing instructions, and work orders to determine assembly methods and sequences.
  • Measure parts and clearances with precision instruments to verify compliance with specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete product qualification test protocols.
  • Generate assembly records for Device History Records and maintain an organized 5S work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to use torque wrenches, hand tools, power supplies, meters, fixtures, soldering irons, and related tooling.
  • Familiarity with GMP environments and medical device manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to read and check bills of materials, schematics, and machine or assembly drawings.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience working for a medical device manufacturer or an equivalent organization.
