Senior IT Systems Administrator

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, California, with in-person presence required 5 days a week.

Salary: $135,000 base salary with total potential annual earnings of $135,000–$148,000, plus variable pay of up to $13,500 and equity.

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for employees across AMER and EMEA and resolve complex endpoint, identity, application, and connectivity issues.
• Administer Jamf, Okta, VPN, DLP, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Adobe, and other business applications.
• Manage user accounts, application access, groups, SSO, MFA, onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
• Own the lifecycle of laptops, mobile devices, and other IT assets from procurement and deployment through recovery and secure decommissioning.
• Support workplace technology in the Bay Area office, including workstations and conference-room systems, and coordinate upgrades with vendors.
• Identify process improvements, automate repetitive IT workflows, and lead assigned projects from requirements gathering through implementation and adoption.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in corporate IT support, systems administration, or IT operations.
• Hands-on corporate macOS endpoint administration with strong Jamf or comparable MDM experience.
• Experience administering Okta or another enterprise identity provider.
• Experience supporting Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Notion, Linear, Slack, and Zoom.
• Experience with onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, hardware lifecycles, and IT service-management or ticketing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in distributed, high-growth, or startup technology environments.
• Experience with office networks, conference-room technology, vendors, managed-service providers, and international hardware logistics.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or comparable security and compliance environments.
• Experience automating IT workflows through scripting, APIs, or workflow-automation tools.
• Jamf, Okta, Apple, ITIL, or CompTIA certification.
