IT Systems Engineer

Location: Hybrid, with occasional onsite visits to the Secaucus, NJ datacenter for hardware, networking, and infrastructure support.

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide Level 1–3 IT support across Mac and Windows environments, including endpoint troubleshooting, password resets, software access, and user support.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, and deprovisioning across Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and other business applications.
• Administer SaaS platforms, endpoint management, MDM, device compliance, patching, inventory, and endpoint protection.
• Support VPN access, DNS, connectivity, identity and access management, SSO, MFA, Azure/Entra federation, and least-privilege controls.
• Support SOC 2 and HIPAA-aligned security and compliance activities, including evidence collection and control execution.
• Automate repetitive workflows and improve IT documentation, asset tracking, escalation processes, infrastructure reliability, and datacenter operations.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong Mac and Windows troubleshooting experience and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with user lifecycle management, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian tools, Zoom, Adobe, 1Password, and related SaaS platforms.
• Experience with SSO, MFA, Google Identity, Azure/Entra federation, MDM, device compliance, patching, inventory, and endpoint security.
• Working knowledge of VPNs, DNS, remote access, connectivity troubleshooting, and on-premise networking.
• Ability and willingness to provide occasional onsite support at the Secaucus, NJ datacenter.

Nice to have

• Experience with FleetDM, Jamf, Intune, Bitdefender, Tailscale, Snipe-IT, or similar tools.
• Exposure to Azure/Office 365, Linux, physical servers, networking hardware, datacenter operations, and office AV systems.
• Experience with API-based, no-code, or low-code automation and Python scripting.
