Manufacturing Engineer-Semi-Shenzhen (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Apply DFx principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs while improving delivered product quality.
• Develop and use test procedures, define test specifications with design and software engineering, and support test fixture development and sourcing.
• Gather and evaluate operational and test data, implement corrective and continuous improvement actions, and document business processes.
• Perform root cause, corrective action, failure analysis, and Process Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis for assembly, testing, and repair development issues.

Requirements

• Conceptual knowledge in manufacturing engineering and the ability to broaden technical capabilities.
• Understanding of key business drivers and their application to manufacturing work.
• Experience or knowledge of lean principles, automation, continuous improvement, and manufacturing cost optimization.
• Ability to analyze straightforward technical problems, evaluate possible solutions, and explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to provide informal guidance to new team members without supervisory responsibility.
