Manager, Finance & Strategy (Marketplace)

Location: Santa Ana, California headquarters or Jersey City, New Jersey office; hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be able to work legally in the United States; hirify.global uses e-Verify.

Salary: $115,000–$170,000 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses, commissions, or other compensation.

What you will do

• Partner with Marketplace business leaders to explain financial levers and performance and support long-term strategic decisions.
• Manage annual operating plans and quarterly planning cycles across PowerPacks, Consignment, PSA Exchange, Lending, and Vault.
• Track performance against budget through monthly forecasts, reporting, and live business reviews.
• Own Marketplace GMV, revenue, and OpEx inputs for quarterly consolidated forecasts and analyze forecast results.
• Prepare analysis, narratives, board books, and executive reporting materials.
• Support long-range planning, scenario analysis, growth investments, and strategic decisions.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, investing, or finance operations.
• Experience partnering with business or functional leaders on budgets and holding performance to plan.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets and financial modeling skills, including driver-based models.
• Experience with financial systems and tools such as NetSuite and Workday, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication, structured problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial management processes, plus a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer goods, e-commerce, or digital marketplace businesses and knowledge of marketplace unit economics.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA.
• Experience establishing or materially rebuilding a planning process.
• Experience directing an analyst's work on shared deliverables.
• Passion for collectibles or sports.
