Project Manager I, Transmission (Hybrid Schedule)

Location: Westwood or Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Regular travel to Cambridge is required, and availability for up to five office days may be needed.

Salary: $108,460–$120,510 annually, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Manage multiple low- and medium-risk electric transmission projects from planning through closeout.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, resources, and cost adjustments.
• Coordinate engineering, design, permitting, procurement, materials, contractors, and construction activities.
• Secure approvals for permits, licenses, budgets, materials, contractors, and other project resources.
• Prepare project metrics and status reports covering quality, technical specifications, reliability, schedule, and budget.
• Support project managers and senior project managers on high-risk or high-profile project segments, including the Greater Cambridge Energy Project.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in electric utility construction or project management, or equivalent demonstrated competencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; a degree in business, a related discipline, or equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Knowledge of project management techniques, tools, and project management software.
• Knowledge of the design and construction of electric transmission and distribution facilities and equipment.
• Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
