Multi-Family Property Project Manager (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Must live in California and be able and willing to commute to the Santa Fe Springs office; hybrid workplace.

Base salary: $78,000–$90,000 annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage common-area energy-efficiency projects for the Southern Multifamily Whole Building Program.
• Coordinate project activities across multifamily properties from initiation through completion.
• Work with subcontractors, property management companies, asset managers, trade allies, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with program requirements, timelines, quality standards, inspections, and billing procedures.
• Maintain project documentation, invoicing, billing records, schedules, and milestone tracking.
• Serve as a primary contact, identify project risks and issues, and coordinate effective resolutions.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Four years of related experience in project coordination, property management, construction coordination, facilities, energy-efficiency programs, or a related field.
• Experience managing project lifecycles, milestones, subcontractors, vendors, property stakeholders, or cross-functional teams.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate schedules, inspections, documentation, billing requirements, issues, risks, and change orders.
• Must live in California and commute to the Santa Fe Springs office.

Nice to have

• Experience with multifamily properties, common-area improvements, property management companies, or asset managers.
• Experience in energy efficiency, water efficiency, utility programs, construction, facilities, or related field services.
• Experience supporting customer-facing or client-facing projects from kickoff through completion.
