Design Engineer (Growth)

Location: Hybrid in New York, Denver, San Francisco, or remote within the United States

Salary: $115,000–$280,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Design and build high-quality marketing, landing page, activation, checkout, and retention experiences.
• Own and evolve the marketing design system, component libraries, and motion and interaction patterns.
• Partner with growth, marketing, sales, product operations, and customer success to improve funnel outcomes.
• Run and instrument growth experiments, report results, and increase experiment velocity.
• Join customer discovery and feedback sessions with agricultural producers.
• Contribute to code reviews, team meetings, hiring, and candidate evaluation.

Requirements

• 4+ years building high-quality web and mobile experiences, including at least 2 years focused on marketing surfaces or growth problems.
• Strong design instincts and the ability to take high-fidelity Figma concepts through production independently.
• Advanced frontend development skills, including performant code, modern workflows, animation, and responsive design.
• Experience owning or extensively working with design systems and component libraries.
• Experimental, data-informed thinking and the ability to define how results should be measured.
• Cross-functional collaboration, product sense, customer empathy, lightweight copywriting, and a proactive, outcome-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience in agriculture or building financial products.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, Next.js, or a headless CMS such as Sanity.
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI development tooling and thoughtful application of it in daily work.
