Senior Design Engineer - MetaMask (Web3)

Location: United States; fully remote with asynchronous collaboration.

Salary: $149,000–$210,000 USD per year, excluding bonus, equity, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Build pixel-perfect, production-ready interfaces with React and React Native.
• Translate Figma designs into accessible, responsive frontend experiences.
• Create purposeful animations, haptics, transitions, and micro-interactions.
• Expand scalable design systems and reusable cross-platform components.
• Take concepts from prototypes through implementation, testing, validation, and release.
• Develop AI-assisted and agentic workflows that improve design-to-code efficiency.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience building and shipping high-traffic consumer products with React and React Native.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, including scalable cross-platform frontend architecture.
• Expertise in frontend performance, accessibility, reusable UI patterns, and production-quality engineering.
• Portfolio demonstrating interaction design, animations, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Advanced Figma literacy and experience maintaining design systems or component libraries.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, or LLM-based tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto wallets, blockchain, Web3 products, or related technologies.
