Product Engineer (React)

Location: Palo Alto, United States; hybrid with four days per week in-office

Salary: $160,000–$220,000 estimated annual base salary, plus equity and performance bonus.

What you will do

• Build multi-platform features and end-to-end user journeys in React and TypeScript, from prototypes through production.
• Improve frontend architecture across web and mobile, including the game feed and creator experience.
• Design, run, and interpret A/B tests for a consumer platform serving tens of millions of users.
• Analyze acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention funnels for creators and players, turning insights into experiments and shipped improvements.
• Identify system-level effects across creator and player loops and prevent unintended consequences.
• Use and build agentic tools to automate workflows, uncover insights, and scale successful approaches.

Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering experience on products serving multiple stakeholders, with ownership of product outcomes.
• Professional experience with React or React Native and the ability to build large features independently.
• Fluency in product analytics, including funnels, cohorts, retention curves, experiment design, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or custom SQL queries.
• Experience taking projects from ambiguous ideas to measured impact end to end.
• Clear communication and documentation skills, including explaining trade-offs and recording decisions.
• Ability to combine product thinking with solving challenging engineering problems.

Nice to have

• Experience growing a two-sided marketplace, creator platform, or consumer social product.
• Familiarity with viral growth mechanics and community-led growth loops.
• Experience running growth or experimentation programs at a high-growth consumer company.
• Background in data science or experience building analytics pipelines.
