Construction Project Manager - Retail Store

Location: Los Angeles; authorized to work in the United States. Travel up to 30–40% within the US is required.

What you will do

• Manage multiple new store build-out and renovation projects from kickoff through handover.
• Source, interview, and evaluate general contractors and subcontractors.
• Review quotes, budgets, cost estimates, and construction schedules.
• Conduct site inspections covering quality, safety, and brand-standard compliance.
• Coordinate external design partners, contractors, internal stakeholders, and retail operations.
• Manage risk, punch lists, closeout documentation, and project records.

Requirements

• 6+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with a general contractor or specialty subcontractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience managing commercial build-out or renovation projects; retail experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, permitting, and inspection requirements.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications, evaluate bids, negotiate costs, and manage budgets.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency and authorization to work in the United States are required.
