Construction Project Manager

Location: Miami, FL, United States; on-site. Travel and onsite supervision required 40–50% of the time.

What you will do

• Plan and supervise construction projects from feasibility studies through completion.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, specialty consultants, property teams, and community management to define scope and coordinate project impacts.
• Negotiate vendor contracts, manage budgets, allocate resources, and track variances, schedules, and risks.
• Obtain required permits and licenses, hire qualified contractors, and coordinate construction labor, materials, furniture, and equipment.
• Conduct field inspections, supervise ongoing work, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain project logs, coordinate internal and external reviews, prepare presentations, and provide weekly status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience managing multiple sites across various cities.
• Working knowledge of code requirements for multifamily projects and construction procedures.
• Experience with material and project management principles, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, time-management, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Project or alternative construction planning tools.
• Experience with Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, SketchUp, or related software.
