Raw Materials Planner (MedTech)

What you will do

• Forecast demand for packaging components and other manufacturing supplies.
• Manage supplier lead times and place orders to maintain component availability.
• Coordinate with vendors to track deliveries, resolve issues, and escalate supply risks.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, alternative vendors, and replacement packaging options.
• Consolidate packaging into common sizes to reduce the number of stocked components.
• Work with product development to plan packaging for new products and support production schedules.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Planning or purchasing experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing demands.
