What you will do

• Derive material demand from complex, multi-level bills of materials and production schedules across multiple vehicle missions and programs.
• Generate material requirement signals and partner with Procurement on actionable acquisition strategies.
• Manage mission-by-mission material readiness, maintaining real-time visibility into supply and demand.
• Develop allocation strategies and models for constrained or at-risk materials based on company priorities and supply conditions.
• Quantify material forecasts to support immediate and medium-term sourcing decisions throughout the production lifecycle.
• Help develop materials requirements planning systems and processes within ERP platforms to improve automation and accuracy.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in material planning, demand planning, fulfillment planning, or a similar role in manufacturing, aerospace, or supply chain environments.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, finance, accounting, quality, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Materials Requirements Planning and its inputs, including material attributes, demand, and supply.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Infor LN, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience creating and managing demand forecasts and incorporating data inputs for accurate material planning.
• Familiarity with bill-of-materials reconciliation and the ability to prioritize work under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or advanced Excel techniques.
• Experience with New Product Development or New Product Introduction.
• Experience with design release processes and systems.
• Background in aerospace, frontier technology, or manufacturing environments.
