Pharmacy Technician (Sterile IV Compounding)

Location: Onsite in Woburn, Massachusetts, United States. Schedule: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. on weekdays and every other weekend; holidays and overtime may be required.

Salary: $20.23–$26.50 per hour.

CAPS, part of the hirify.global Group, provides same-day compounded sterile admixture services and solutions to hospitals and outpatient facilities through a national 503A outsourcing pharmacy network.

What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile products under pharmacist supervision using aseptic technique.
• Set up compounding rooms, equipment, and supplies for sterile solution preparation.
• Participate in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Prepare records and monitor results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
• At Level II, assist with training and mentoring new IV technicians.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
• National pharmacy certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of the relevant technical field and ability to follow established procedures and detailed instructions.
• Sterile compounding experience is not required; training is provided.

Nice to have

• cGMP training or experience.
• Aseptic processing training or experience.
