What you will do

• Develop and evolve backend services and infrastructure to support rapid global growth.
• Design and implement new product features for customers and business partners.
• Take full ownership of complex backend features from technical design and testing to deployment.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional agile team to ensure high scalability and product quality.
• Act as a technical anchor, mentoring mid-level engineers and setting high quality standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend development within the Java ecosystem.
• Production experience with Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, and Message Systems.
• Proficiency in Domain Driven Design (DDD), Clean, or Hexagonal Architecture.
• Knowledge of AWS (SQS, SNS, S3), ElasticSearch, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience building scalable solutions and RESTful APIs.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the London office.
