Analyst, Asset Management (Renewable Energy)

Location: Hybrid position based in the San Diego, California office, United States; occasional travel to company or project locations is required.

Salary: $70,000–$88,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual cash bonus.

hirify.global develops and operates clean energy projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, and conventional power generation assets across the United States.

What you will do

• Support due diligence, contract reviews, project evaluations, acquisitions, divestitures, and investments in renewable energy projects.
• Analyze P&L results, economic performance, gross margin, budgets, forecasts, financial models, and monthly variance reports.
• Investigate plant outages, support resolution and recovery plans, and identify opportunities for plant optimization, revenue enhancement, and capital investment.
• Coordinate commercial administration and compliance with project company agreements, financing agreements, licenses, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Organize project documentation, maintain historical records, and support information-sharing platforms and work management systems.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional departments on asset management and project handover improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in asset management, data analytics, business administration, project management, contract administration, project finance, or another commercial role.
• Ability to interpret complex agreements and regulations, including legal terminology.
• Strong analytical, project management, organizational, business, and financial skills, including accounting, finance, and valuation concepts.
• Experience managing large structured and unstructured datasets, using Excel formulas, and creating reports from scratch.
• No visa sponsorship or employment authorization sponsorship is available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience in the power industry.
• Microsoft Power BI and DAX experience for data modeling, querying, calculations, and dashboard development.
• Python, Power Query, or Excel experience for data cleaning, transformation, integration, and analysis.
