Corporate Development Associate (SaaS)

Location: Remote (Must be based in the USA)

Salary: $85,300 – $152,790

What you will do

• Evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities through financial, strategic, and operational analysis.
• Build complex financial models, including DCF, valuation, accretion/dilution, and scenario analyses.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support target identification and pipeline development.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Coordinate due diligence efforts across finance, legal, product, technology, and security teams.
• Manage transaction workstreams and support post-close integration planning.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Consulting.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical rigor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with software, SaaS, and subscription-based business models.
• Experience using market intelligence platforms like Capital IQ, PitchBook, or FactSet.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI-enabled tools and generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for analysis and research.
• CFA designation or progress toward professional certification.
