Corporate Development Manager (Aerospace)

Salary: $150,500–$188,100 base pay per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain the M&A target pipeline, including sourcing and screening potential targets.
• Conduct market research and strategic analysis across aerospace, defense, and aviation software sectors.
• Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction recommendations.
• Own diligence processes, including request lists, virtual data rooms, cross-functional coordination, and synthesis of findings.
• Support transaction execution with external counsel and financial advisors, including reviewing term sheets and definitive documents.
• Use AI tools to automate screening, diligence tracking, and research synthesis; support integration planning and represent hirify.global at industry events.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, strategy consulting, or a related field, with direct exposure to live M&A or strategic transactions.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including three-statement modeling and scenario analysis.
• Experience running structured diligence processes, managing data rooms, tracking requests, and coordinating cross-functional workstreams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, executive-ready materials.
• High ownership, sound judgment, and comfort operating independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Experience or interest in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, hardware, or deep-tech industries.
• Fluency with PitchBook, Capital IQ, AlphaSense, or similar market intelligence tools.
