Compliance Manager, Operations (Data Centers)

Location: Hybrid, based out of one of hirify.global' designated locations; listed location: DFW01_02

What you will do

• Own and govern the enterprise Operations Compliance Program across all data center sites.
• Manage air quality permits, operating permits, emissions tracking, generator-hour monitoring, and environmental reporting.
• Oversee compliance with customer contractual obligations, vendor scopes, maintenance practices, and service-level agreements.
• Build centralized systems, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for permits, emissions, vendor performance, and contractual obligations.
• Conduct compliance audits, investigate deviations, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective action plans.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Platform Delivery, Legal, site leadership, regulators, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a related scientific or engineering field; a master's degree is preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in environmental compliance management, particularly air quality regulations and permitting.
• Experience managing air permits for industrial or commercial facilities, especially facilities with standby generators.
• Experience developing and implementing environmental compliance data-tracking systems.
• In-depth knowledge of EPA and local air quality regulations, environmental data management software, and advanced Excel.
• Ability to work independently, communicate complex technical information, manage projects, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SCADA, DCiM, or other remote monitoring technologies for generator data collection.
• Master's degree in a related field.
