Sales Manager – Conference, Groups & Events (Hospitality)

Accor operates the new dual-branded Novotel & ibis Styles Melbourne Airport property, with 464 rooms, food and beverage venues, conference facilities, and coworking space.

What you will do

• Drive sales and business growth across conference, groups, corporate, MICE, wholesale, and inbound markets.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new business through networking, prospecting, client engagement, and industry events.
• Manage and grow key accounts while building relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and business partners.
• Work with Revenue, Reservations, and Conference & Events teams to convert opportunities and deliver seamless client experiences.
• Represent the hotel at client meetings and trade shows, maintain CRM records, and report on sales activity and performance.

Requirements

• Commercially driven, relationship-focused sales experience in hospitality.
• Strong understanding of the corporate, conference, groups, MICE, and events landscape.
• Ability to build partnerships with clients, agents, and industry stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organisation, and collaboration skills.
• Results-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline.
