What you will do

• Own the end-to-end renewal forecasting process and build and validate models for churn, renewal rates, and retention outcomes.
• Analyze retention metrics and trends across designated SaaS product lines and provide actionable insights to Retention Analytics and Customer Retention leaders.
• Prepare weekly pacing updates and monthly and quarterly retention reviews with stakeholders across teams and management levels.
• Perform variance analysis, identify root causes of retention performance against targets, and provide proactive recommendations for business strategy.
• Reconcile retention data, manage manual adjustments, maintain reporting accuracy and timeliness, and extract insights from large, complex datasets and company databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A or similar financial analysis roles in SaaS or subscription-based business models, with a deep understanding of SaaS KPIs and metrics.
• Expert-level financial modeling and data manipulation skills.
• Strong self-motivation, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to handle ambiguity and a high workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with abstract concepts and fragmented data to create actionable recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
