Senior Financial Analyst, SaaS Retention Specialist (SaaS)

Location: Remote (US)

Annual base salary: $98,000–$151,000, plus variable pay and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end renewal forecasting process, including churn, renewal rate, and retention outcome models.
• Analyze retention metrics and trends across designated SaaS product lines.
• Deliver weekly pacing updates and monthly or quarterly retention reviews.
• Perform variance analysis, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for business strategy.
• Reconcile retention data, manage manual adjustments, and maintain accurate and timely reporting.
• Work with large and complex datasets and company databases to improve analytics workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or similar financial analysis roles in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
• Deep understanding of SaaS KPIs and metrics.
• Expert-level financial modeling and data manipulation skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, fragmented data, and high workloads while communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
