Financial Planning Manager (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid, approximately two days per week in the New York City or Houston office; primary location: Houston, TX, Allen Pkwy. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the interview process.

Compensation: $89,600.00–$157,000.00 USD, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Build detailed sales and revenue forecasts with cross-functional business partners.
• Support annual budgeting, VSP strategic planning, and quarterly forecasting for the Enterprise Legal Management business.
• Analyze sales pipeline activity, win rates, deal timing, sales mix, risks, opportunities, and commercial drivers.
• Own financial analysis and forecasting for transactional SaaS metrics, including churn, renewals, and ARR.
• Develop volume-based transactional revenue forecasting models and partner with Data Science to improve methodologies, accuracy, and predictive capabilities.
• Lead cross-departmental projects with varied resource requirements, risks, and complexity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related finance role.
• Strong ownership and initiative, including independently driving work, identifying issues and opportunities, and following through to completion.
• Strong business analytics skills, including root-cause analysis, insight development, and translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Confident, constructive communication skills with the ability to challenge assumptions, ask difficult questions, build trusted relationships, and present to senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency with financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization, and analytical tools, with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
• Practical fluency in AI, automation, and emerging analytical tools for improving Finance processes.
• Intellectual curiosity, a structured and methodical approach to forecasting and analysis, strong attention to detail, and process discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS, software, or recurring-revenue business model.
• Experience with planning and reporting software such as NetSuite or Tagetik.
