TL;DR

Location: Audubon, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite role with up to 5% travel to cadaver labs and surgeries

What you will do

  • Design and develop front-end and middle-end software for medical devices.
  • Partner with the Product Manager and UI/UX Designer to prototype, evaluate, and implement user interface view models.
  • Manage assigned software work packages, including version control, tool chains, documentation, and quality-system compliance.
  • Contribute to software design verification and validation activities.
  • Create and maintain software design history file documents and support regulatory documentation for product and software certification.
  • Attend surgical cases periodically to understand clinical workflows, integrated equipment, and surgeon requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Object-oriented C++ development experience, including C++17 or later.
  • Experience with the Qt and QML frameworks.
  • Experience with test-driven programming.
  • Proactive, autonomous, organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with changing priorities and attend cadaver labs and surgeries.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical devices or life sciences.
