Senior Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed locations are Phoenix, Arizona, and Washington, District of Columbia.

What you will do

• Develop and support proprietary applications, websites, and services using React.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external development contributors to deliver products and features on schedule.
• Own codebase architecture and software quality while developing solutions for modern Healthcare IT.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and support planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
• Work with third-party vendors and customers to support hardware on the hirify.global platform.
• Evaluate processes, tools, and development approaches to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building enterprise web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React, Redux, RTK, and their ecosystems.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Deep understanding of modern web application architecture, API design patterns, performance, and scalability.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to take ownership, deliver solutions, and adapt strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebSocket, WebRTC, Twilio, video conferencing protocols, or related systems.
• Healthcare experience, including regulated environments, HL7, EMR, or EHR platforms.
• Experience working with Ruby.
