Frontend Engineer (React Native)

What you will do

• Establish core UI interactions, architecture, and workflows for operators, engineers, and field teams.
• Architect interfaces that visualize telemetry, live video, 3D scenes, and geospatial maps in real time.
• Optimize frontend frameworks across mobile operating systems for ultra-low-latency control of heavy machinery.
• Design and implement frontend foundations, including state management, component systems, and asynchronous data flows.
• Collaborate with robotics, autonomy, and backend engineers to turn complex machine data into intuitive operational workflows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience designing, architecting, and implementing complex business-critical frontend applications.
• Deep expertise in React Native, with the ability to work with Swift and Kotlin when needed.
• Strong understanding of network management, memory management, and rendering performance.
• Experience with massive datasets, complex state, real-time data streaming, WebSockets, WebRTC, and asynchronous flows.
• Strong product and systems thinking, including architecture design from first principles and experience creating polished workflows for power users.
• Comfort owning a software stack and working through ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing React Native performance.
• Background in 3D visualization, rendering, WebGL, WebGPU, Three.js, CesiumJS, or similar technologies.
• Experience with geospatial tools, GIS systems, or massive map datasets.
• Experience with ultra-low-latency workflows, real-time video streaming, or constrained edge-network environments.
• Experience designing interfaces for robotics, autonomous vehicles, industrial systems, or teleoperation platforms.
