Senior Frontend Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite. Remote work options are not available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.; relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered.

What you will do

• Architect and implement React and TypeScript applications for engineering productivity and analytics.
• Build tools for mining and organizing real-world ride scenarios, tracking simulations, and collecting metrics.
• Develop fleet-tracking interfaces for vehicles and robots, including location, build progress, equipment, and autopilot configuration.
• Create systems for safely updating the hardware and software configuration of the production fleet.
• Collaborate with simulation engineers, analytics specialists, and operations teams to shape reliable APIs and user flows.
• Deliver responsive, intuitive tools through rapid iteration to improve engineering productivity.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of production development experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills with experience building fast, maintainable applications.
• Good UI intuition and the ability to debug slow or janky interfaces.
• Systems thinking and the ability to write frontend code that remains reliable under load.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with telemetry, maps, or robotics and vehicle systems.
• Basic Python or Go skills for debugging backend issues.
