TL;DR
Supervisor, Integration Technicians, Weekend Shift (Aerospace Manufacturing): Overseeing weekend integration operations for Terran R flight hardware with an accent on production safety, quality, scheduling, and technician development. Focus on resolving production bottlenecks, improving manufacturing efficiency, and coordinating integration work across engineering, planning, supply chain, and quality teams.

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Weekend shift: 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT.

Salary: $118,000–$178,000 USD annually, plus a 10% shift differential.

hirify.global develops Terran R, a next-generation reusable rocket, and the manufacturing systems, processes, and factory infrastructure needed to deliver customer payloads to orbit.

What you will do

  • Oversee weekend integration operations and ensure Terran R hardware is produced safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
  • Lead, develop, and support a team of integration technicians, including skills development and career progression.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing engineering, planning, supply chain, and quality teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive production schedules and maintain daily visibility into flight-hardware progress.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks while promoting safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or another high-reliability manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience overseeing production technicians or operators.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly, integration, and testing processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in aerospace or space-hardware production.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, MES, or digital factory tools.
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training or certifications.
