Location: Long Beach, California, United States; second shift from 3:30 PM PST to 2:00 AM PST

Salary: $118,000–$178,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Oversee final integration operations on the second shift, ensuring Terran R hardware is produced safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
  • Lead and develop integration technicians, supporting skills growth and career progression.
  • Partner with manufacturing engineering, planning, supply chain, and quality teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive production schedules, maintain daily production visibility, and resolve bottlenecks affecting flight hardware completion.
  • Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across production operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or another high-reliability manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience overseeing production technicians or operators.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in aerospace or space hardware production.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, MES, or digital factory tools.
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training or certifications.
