Salary: $130,000–$194,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead a diversely skilled production organization across first and second shifts building Terran R primary structures.
• Manage production of large structural assemblies through machining, forming, friction stir welding, drill and trim, and assembly processes.
• Establish and communicate the strategy for transitioning from low-volume development to high-volume production.
• Build scalable production tools, schedules, reports, and review processes that provide data-backed visibility into hardware health.
• Drive safety, quality, schedule adherence, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing organization.
• Develop and mentor production staff, supervisors, and technicians.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical or operations role, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or a similar industry.
• 3+ years of formal production team leadership or management experience.
• Extensive experience developing scalable business and production processes.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across engineering, technician, and executive groups.
• Demonstrated focus on safety, quality, schedule, and production excellence.
• Ability to navigate constructive conflict, difficult conversations, and cross-functional influence.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience leading other leaders and scaling production teams from tens to hundreds of employees.
• Knowledge of Smartsheet, SQL, Excel, PLM, ERP, and MES systems.
• Experience in NPI-to-production environments.
• Lean Six Sigma credentials or demonstrated experience.
