Summer 2027 Supply Chain Materials Project Manager Intern - Master's (Santa Clara, CA)

What you will do

• Support Supplier Account Managers, Procurement and Materials Managers, and Supply Chain Analytics during a 12-week summer internship.
• Complete supplier RFQs, prepare supplier profiles, and support meetings, presentations, business reviews, and capacity reviews.
• Work with suppliers on obsolescence compliance, cost reduction opportunities, supplier negotiations, and alternate or emergency material sources.
• Create, reschedule, and cancel purchase orders according to MRP requirements, and expedite materials by contacting suppliers.
• Resolve accounts payable issues involving purchase order, invoice, and receipt discrepancies.
• Perform part, MRP, and spend analytics; provide material delivery updates to factory stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related major.
• Good academic standing; a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
• Creative and analytical problem-solving skills, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent listening, writing, quantitative, qualitative, and oral communication skills.
• Data analytics skills, including advanced Excel and working with multiple data sets.
• Valid United States work authorization is required for the full internship period; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
