Supply Chain Intern Summer 2027 (Aerospace)

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland, United States; full-time, on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027.

Salary: $22 USD per hour in Maryland. A relocation stipend may be available.

What you will do

• Support inventory-level optimization, supplier relationships, and operational risk mitigation.
• Help manage the end-to-end flow of materials needed for production and customer demand.
• Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real supply chain and procurement challenges.
• Work with mentors, supervisors, and cross-functional colleagues while providing progress updates.
• Participate in technical talks and professional networking events with interns and employees.

Requirements

• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Silver Spring, Maryland, for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027.
• For U.S. offices, must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, lawfully admitted refugee or asylee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR regulations.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operations Management, with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• At least 3 months of corporate experience in supply chain.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, work in ambiguous situations, and lead development projects with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• At least 6 months of corporate supply chain experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and INDEX/MATCH.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, or Oracle ERP systems.
