Night Manager

Location: Sunshine Coast QLD, Australia; on-site overnight work at the resort

A large resort in the Accor hospitality network, offering more than 370 rooms, a convention centre, dining facilities, resort amenities, and event spaces while undergoing a $20 million refurbishment.

What you will do

• Oversee overnight hotel operations and maintain service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Lead and support the night team while maintaining a professional work environment.
• Manage guest enquiries, feedback, and escalations.
• Complete night audits, financial reconciliation, reporting, and morning handover documentation.
• Conduct property checks and maintain safety, security, and operational standards.
• Respond to emergencies and operational challenges independently.

Requirements

• Experience as a Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager, or senior Front Office leader.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to and from the resort for overnight shifts.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness, independent decision-making, and a calm approach to high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
• Availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays; approximately 4–5 overnight shifts per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Opera Cloud or a similar hotel management system.
