Location: Onsite in Midland, Texas; Midland base required. Regional travel and extended hours during operational peaks are expected.

What you will do
- Lead the Midland technical team across delivery, field operations, and services, including performance management, onboarding, recruitment support, and leadership development.
- Own daily site operations, workshop workflows, housekeeping, 5S standards, inventory, equipment maintenance, calibration, and asset readiness.
- Drive facility safety and compliance, conduct walkthroughs and hazard assessments, lead toolbox talks, and act as Incident Commander during site emergencies.
- Build and operate the manual drone flights and broader field services offering, defining workflows, staffing, pricing inputs, scheduling, quality standards, safety protocols, and documentation.
- Support deployments, site surveys, acceptance testing, complex maintenance, and critical customer-facing field escalations as a hands-on player-coach.
- Coordinate with delivery, operations, support, project management, account management, HR, and Florida-based leadership while reporting performance and escalations to the Global Operations Director.
Requirements
- Engineering educational background.
- 7+ years of experience in operations, field operations, or facility management.
- At least 3 years of direct management experience with highly technical teams, including matrix management with remote functional leaders.
- Technical field operations experience in industrial robotics, energy, industrial equipment, telecom infrastructure, or similar high-value assets.
- Working knowledge of deployment, installation, workshop, or technical field service processes, plus industrial warehouse and workshop safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Valid driver's license; Part 107 certification is a plus.
