Neurophysiologist (MedTech)

Location: Florida, United States; field-based role requiring regular operating-room presence and up to 25% travel

What you will do

• Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgical procedures.
• Obtain patient medical histories and consult surgeons about structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
• Communicate monitoring information to surgeons and surgical staff throughout each case.
• Display, label, measure, and calculate waveform data such as latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times.
• Select appropriate protocols, troubleshoot monitoring issues, and ensure accurate data collection.
• Complete IOM documentation, maintain equipment, and perform required maintenance checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Current certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) and ability to maintain CNIM status.
• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, human anatomy and physiology, or technical troubleshooting.
• Effective English communication with surgeons and surgical staff, along with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Eligibility for privileges at required hospitals, including applicable physical and vaccination requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation capable of carrying medical equipment in the country of operation.
