Clinical Specialist (Medical Devices)

Location: Remote, field-based in the Houston, TX territory; candidates must reside within or near Houston. Frequent travel throughout South Texas and additional regional and national travel are required, including overnight stays, with travel expected 80% of the time.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus a targeted annual bonus of 20%.

What you will do

• Provide technical support during remedē System implantation procedures.
• Support therapy activation, titration, patient programming, and scheduled remote technical support.
• Train hospital staff and new customers on the remedē System programmer and device programming.
• Support the opening and certification of new implanting centers and team members.
• Work with Territory Managers to support the sales process and coordinate clinical schedules.
• Use overnight sleep study findings to inform effective patient programming during clinic visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or clinical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of clinical support experience within the medical device industry.
• Experience with implantable device procedures in an OR, cardiac catheterization lab, or electrophysiology lab environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, communication, and independent field-work skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environments.
• Ability to travel 80%, including overnight stays, and reside within or near Houston.

Nice to have

• Cardiac rhythm management experience.
• IBHRE certification.
• Experience in structural heart, neuromodulation, or electrophysiology mapping.
