Cost Control Lead (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor Cost Controllers supporting a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.
• Oversee portfolio-wide cost control, forecasting, budgeting, month-end reporting, and performance reviews.
• Develop and maintain cost management processes, systems, governance frameworks, and reporting standards.
• Analyse cost performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to senior leadership and project teams.
• Manage change control to keep cost and schedule baselines aligned with approved scope.
• Collaborate with project delivery, commercial, engineering, and finance teams while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business, Project Controls, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in cost control, project controls, commercial management, or portfolio reporting.
• Experience supporting large capital programs in infrastructure, utilities, engineering, defence, transport, mining, or construction.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle cost management and experience in complex, multi-project environments.
• Advanced analytical and financial reporting skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project controls or reporting systems.
• Leadership, stakeholder management, communication, coaching, and continuous improvement capabilities.
