hirify.globalss="what-you-will-do">What you will do
- Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budgeting, cash and credit management, and accounting.
- Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and preparation of financial information.
- Prepare or direct the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, budgets, business activity reports, and regulatory filings.
- Evaluate funding and surplus investment needs and provide recommendations.
- Monitor financial ratios and key performance indicators, and oversee accounting and financial staff performance.
- Advise management and communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and other stakeholders, including preparing or hosting board presentations.

- Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent related experience, education, and training may be considered.
- Six years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience required.
- Healthcare industry experience required; public accounting experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of accounting software and systems; QuickBooks experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and applicable business software.
- Understanding of GAAP, FASB/SFAS, or another comprehensive basis of accounting, along with strong organization, communication, and client relationship skills.
