Operations Manager II, Fleet Transportation (Logistics)

Salary: $84,000–$126,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock or regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Lead transportation associates and leaders, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.
• Implement the transportation business plan to achieve production, safety, and quality goals.
• Maintain procedures and documentation supporting transportation regulations, safety standards, and logistics policies.
• Analyze transportation metrics and business reports to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Forecast staffing needs and transportation workload, resolving operational issues as they arise.
• Support efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction across transportation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of relevant operations, distribution, supply chain, or retail management experience; alternatively, qualifying Walmart supply chain experience or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers, supervisors, or associates.
• Experience managing workload and participating in employee hiring and promotion decisions.
• Leadership, decision-making, planning, organizational, communication, and adaptability skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, logistics, management, or operations management.
• Three years of supply chain experience involving team supervision and development.
• Prior Walmart Supply Chain management experience.
