Transit Manager

Location: Prescott, Arizona; fully onsite 4–5 days per week

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year

What you will do

• Run daily onsite operations to deliver safe, reliable, and accessible transportation services.
• Make real-time decisions about fleet availability, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and unexpected operational issues.
• Guide and support drivers, build strong working relationships, and address operational concerns.
• Analyze rider and community feedback, identify patterns, and implement practical service improvements.
• Use data and technology to assess performance, diagnose problems, and improve operational efficiency and rider experience.
• Coordinate between city partners, drivers, and central hirify.global teams.

Requirements

• Experience in operations, people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Hands-on and proactive approach to field-based problem-solving.
• Ability to handle tactical issues while developing longer-term solutions.
• Mission-driven interest in expanding access to public transportation.
• Must be based in Prescott, Arizona and available onsite 4–5 days per week.
