What you will do

• Develop and execute an enterprise Fleet Reliability Program and deploy a Transportation Management System for route optimization.
• Own DOT and FMCSA compliance across the enterprise fleet, including driver qualifications and vehicle inspections.
• Partner with Procurement on fleet asset sourcing and 3PL strategy to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Lead long-term fleet replacement strategy and capital planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive the transition toward low-emission and alternative-fuel vehicles such as CNG, electric, or hybrid.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align transportation strategy with company environmental targets.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within waste management or recycling.
• Strong working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration (MBA is a plus).
• Proven history of improving fleet efficiency and managing large, multi-site teams.
