What you will do

• Provide technical leadership to civil designers and drafters.
• Develop concept and detailed civil designs and models for the Suburban Rail Loop East Linewide Alliance.
• Coordinate civil design activities with structural, track, drainage, power, systems, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Review, verify, and approve design outputs and models.
• Support the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions for tunnels, stations, and rail network systems.
• Mentor and develop junior designers while contributing to quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 10 years of experience in civil design and drafting within infrastructure or related sectors.
• Strong experience with OpenRoads Designer, 12d, MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and industry design practices.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design activities and engaging stakeholders.
• Ability to review, verify, and approve design outputs and models.
