Roadway Engineering Designer

Location: Houston, Texas; onsite

What you will do

• Lead portions of complex transportation design projects covering roadway, multimodal, and intersection design.
• Prepare detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform advanced design calculations and verify compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and provide technical guidance to junior designers.
• Support project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and design deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
• At least 2 years of Texas transportation engineering design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Regular full-time onsite work in Houston, Texas.
