Senior DevOps Engineer (Hybrid)

Salary: $109,500–$208,500 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Participate in requirements refinement, architecture discussions, design reviews, and test-plan development.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline reliability and performance using metrics and reporting.
• Integrate automated code-quality checks, security scanning, continuous integration, and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams on end-to-end delivery reliability.
• Guide teams on Git workflows, source-control practices, pipeline usage, and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 7 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 2 years.
• Professional experience in coding, software design, development, and structured systems integration.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code, automated testing, security in build pipelines, and regulated software life-cycle processes.
• Experience with version control, artifact repositories, and pipeline logging or monitoring solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• 7+ years of professional coding experience and 5+ years of coding design and development experience.
