Senior AI DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Choose either hybrid work remotely up to two days per week or on-site work five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Salary: $95,200–$142,800 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Design, implement, secure, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure for enterprise applications, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to improve delivery speed, reliability, quality, and security.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or equivalent technologies.
• Embed automated security scanning, policy enforcement, compliance monitoring, identity management, secrets management, and vulnerability controls into delivery workflows.
• Support Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI, and related platform services used to develop and deploy AI-powered applications and agents.
• Establish platform standards, deployment guardrails, observability practices, reusable automation, and self-service capabilities while leading troubleshooting and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting production workloads in Microsoft Azure and enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, release management, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, including Zero Trust, IAM, PAM, secrets management, encryption, vulnerability remediation, and pipeline security controls.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, observability, incident management, and platform reliability practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, or related AI platform technologies.
• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or generative AI platforms.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
• Experience establishing engineering standards and platform governance across multiple development teams.
